We used Elite Floors on our Hardwood Floors when we purchased a home from a previous owner, that did not take great care of the floors. They were very professional, responsive, on time and provided high quality work. They took their time and explained the process and kept us well informed. Those guys know all about floors! This is the 2nd time we've used Elite for our hardwoods. 10 years ago, they refinished antique heart pine and finished new white oak floors. The colors blended perfectly and the quality was outstanding.

Last week, Elite finished newly-installed white oak in the kitchen & refinished 25-yr old red oak in adjoining rooms - with the goal of matching throughout. SUCCESS! The dark walnut stain and satin finish is breathtaking! They buffed out scratches & gouges from years of abuse from prior owners & they look like new.

Their communication, follow-up, clean-up, professionalism and kind disposition was second to none. The price is competitive, but the outstanding result would be a bargain at twice the price.

I was in the process of moving into my new home in Simpsonville, just before Christmas, and had this one opportunity to have all my floors done at once. The Gents at Elite Floor told me my options and gave me great advice on which way to go. After we decided the best solution, these guys went to work and started on time and finished on time! Our first contact with Valorie to get information and schedule was pleasant, informative and she made us feel our job was just as important to her as it was to us. She scheduled our first meeting with Jamie quickly and professionally. Jamie did a great job evaluating our needs and advising us on when the floods could be repaired, how much we needed to do and what we could do to save some money and still have a great outcome. We built our home almost eight years ago, and Elite Flooring sanded and stained our hardwood floors at that time and did a great job. Everyone that came to our home commented on our beautiful floors. Eight years and one labrador retriever later, our floors had taken a beating and it was time to have them redone. We contacted Jamie again. We were a bit nervous about having it done this time since it was not new construction and we would be out of our house for a week. We had heard horrible stories of homeowners that had redone their hardwoods and the miserable experience. Jamie started the floors on time and finished when promised. He was thorough, respectful of our home, matched our stain color with ease, and kept us updated daily. We could not have had a better experience. Our floors are again beautiful, and we would hire Jamie again without reservation.

I am the new owner of a 1950's house that has hard wood floors in 3 bedrooms, study, living and dining room. The floors had a golden look of varnish, some past paint drips and discoloration where rugs had been and the dining room floor was painted black. As I had a window of time when I could move in I looked at what it would cost to have the floors refinished. Elite Flooring, by far, gave me the best price quote in an initial e-mail from listing measurements. I chose to go with Elite and then they asked to move my date up early which worked out even better for me. On the 1st day as they were setting up we went over colors and finish and then my house was theirs for 3 days of sanding and varnishing. They forewarned me that the quarter round would/could possible be damaged esp. in the dining room with the black floor. On day 3 I returned to amazing shiny floors (3rd coat was just applied) and from a distance the quarter round looked good and the dining room floor was a lovely natural wood color vs black. On day 4 when I could walk on my "new" floors I almost did not want to because they were so pretty and shiny and new looking, but walking on them just made me like them even more as they are super smooth...perfect for sliding in socks from one room to another :-)

Could not have asked for any better! Timely on time quote return, worked with my schedule to fit me in and then actually called to switch and get my floors done a week early and only took 3 days. The initial quote did not include a hallway or closets and the re-calculation did not include all of the closets but Elite said they understood if I did not want to pay the difference or even half of the difference. I was so pleased with the results that I paid more than half of the difference.

From the first phone call to Valerie we were impressed with Elite Floor Sanding, and throughout the process they did not disappoint. James and his team showed up to work when promised, did what they had stated they would do, and charged exactly what they quoted. Our floors look like new and there was virtually no mess. My husband and I had a 180 pound great dane that we loved dearly. He had the run of the house for about 5 years. During that time, our hard wood floors took a serious beating. The scratches were so deep we thought they would never be repaired to perfection. However, Elite Floor Sanding and Refinishing came in and turned the house around. The floors look even better now then they did when they were first laid! There are no scratches to be found and the floors are so shiny I can almost see my reflection in them! We will certainly use Elite Floor Sanding in the future and would recommend them hands down to anyone in need! Not only are they great at what they do, but they were friendly, accessible, and extremely helpful as well! They exceeded on all fronts!

Don't let Jamie's youthful appearance fool you because he has years and years of experience. We had a mess with kitchen floors after years of vinyl flooring sitting on top. Jamie went by and suggested several things to try and remove the excess glue. He was positive and encouraging with his advice. I was concerned that they could not be salvaged even after all the work we had done. He and his crew showed up cheerful and optimistic. Needless to say they got everything off and the floors look wonderful. The house was amazingly clean after they finished. There was minimum residue even after all the sanding. They were were very polite and upbeat. I would highly recommend them just as my friend recommended them to me.

This team of talented refinishers turned floors I thought could not be saved into 12" wide, absolutely stunning heartwood pine floors. They did our main level quickly and we cannot wait to have them return and refinish our second floor! I could not be more satisfied!

Elite Floor Sanding sanded and finished an antique house for us two years ago. This past Christmas we put the home on tour and counted 800 people trampled through the entire house. Every room and up and down the Heart Pine Stairs. No booties required and shoes left on... Amazingly, the floors look as good as when Elite finished the job. I will absolutely hire Elite for our next restoration job.

I called this father and son team to come and finish my floors for a buff and coat I emailed them two weeks later on how poor the finish was holding up no response I've called several times to come back and warrantee their work and no response that shows me what kind of quality work they have done when they can't come out and inspect it after six months and how the finish has Disappeared and at least make an attempt to look at . Well done and to there secretary what a way to keep up and try to help out a costumer.

James and sons did an outstanding job at refinishing our Image Maple Cashmere engineered flooring that had been badly damaged by a previous contractor. We highly recommend them.

Jamie and his crew did a 5-Star job sanding and finishing our floors in Grand Harbor in Ninety-Six SC. Unfortunately he did a 0-Star job on service after completion. I was told to use painters tape to cover the new floors with paper, but had residue left in some places. Jamie refused to come out and show me how to fix. He said it was "too far" to come from Anderson. Interesting since it wasn't "too far" for my $5,000. Be careful if you live at a distance and expect service after the sale. He ignored most of my texts and calls.

Company was great with working around our schedule; they were prompt, accurate in their time estimate, and did a wonderful job. Our floors are 20 years old and look like new with a buff and coat!! We could not be happier with our beautifully refinished hardwood floors. Jamie and his son did a fantastic job reviving the original hardwoods hiding beneath carpet for years in the house we recently purchased. The end results are beautiful and the process was timely and professional. Elite is an excellent choice if you're looking for affordable professional results!

Elite Flooring was fantastic. We chose them because they provided the most detailed information about the buff and recoat process (including having to test before fully coating) and were clear about scheduling and timing, while being priced competitively. The team arrived on time, gave clear information in person, and worked quickly. James was direct about the floors being in good shape and said we should not pay for a more expensive sanding. The buff and satin coat looks beautiful. It refreshed the floors exactly as we hoped, and will extend the life of the hardwood in our older home.

Jamie was very fast and responsive! He came in and finished my new hardwood floors in two parts! Being a water based finish, a lot of floor companies aren't completely sure how to handle them but Jamie had just used the same product in his personal home and knew exactly what to do. They look GREAT! Very happy! Will certainly recommend him to others!

Really couldn't have asked for a better experience. Jamie and his son were very professional, thorough, insanely detail oriented, and really pleasant to work with. We ran into a few snags with our floors and they handled it like pros. Just for perspective, the 60+ year old floors in our newly-purchased home were in rough shape in some areas, and they made them look brand new. I couldn't even believe it. Big shoutout to all the hard work they did and their kindness along the way. If you're on the fence about what company to go with in the area, pick this one! You absolutely will not regret it.

After reading all the good reviews, we were sorely disappointed. The floors look nice, but we are still in disagreement with Mr Riddley that we received 3 coats of poly on our floors. When questioning this, we received one answer from his son Braden, who stated they did one coat Sunday, one coat Monday and final coat Tuesday. My husband and I knew that no poly was put on Sunday because we had walked over to look after they left. Floors were stained and they were dry. There was no poly. When my husband called Mr Riddley he stated that they had applied stain on Sunday, then on Monday, they had put down trim in 1500 sq ft of house and applied 2 coats of poly, buffing in-between coats. That they could do this because they used fast drying poly. (Dries in 4 to 6 hours) My husband and I were gone Monday from 12 p.m. until 8 p.m. No workers were there when we left and no one was there when we got home. Floors were completely dry and I walked on them at 8 p.m. We find it hard to believe trim was cut and installed, floors vacuumed, poly put down, allowed to dry. Buffed/sanded, a second coat put down and it was completely dry at 8 p.m. Braden stated that the trim had been installed and one coat on Monday. That fits the timeline. Although he also stated a coat had been put down Sunday and it had not. We received a completely different answer from Mr Riddley, which confirms to us that there were 2 coats of poly, not 3. I paid for the job before we ever got to look, because Floors were still wet. When I was able to look Wednesday I noticed several things. Trim was not installed on 2 walls. When shown pictures, Mr Riddley stated that those walls did not have baseboard so they were unable to put down trim. I resent the pictures to him, showing there WAS baseboard and no trim. He did not reply. They also didn't nail down certain areas of the trim and it's bowed up off the floor. In other areas there are so many nails, the trim looks like Swiss cheese. They also peeled paint off the walls in our living room we had just had remodeled. The paint is peeled off in 4 different areas, several quite large. When I sent the pictures of the gapped molding and paint missing from the walls, he didn't respond at all. This service is quite expensive and I feel that doing a job in 2.5 days, that was originally quoted at taking 5 to 6 days, since they would be doing 3 coats of poly, was a rushed job. We are very disappointed and even more disappointed in Mr Riddleys refusal to accept any responsibility. I really wanted to leave a one star review based on the quality of work AND the lack of care/concern on Mr Riddleys part. But, I have a hard time leaving a negative review for a business. I guess this is what I get for paying without cking out the finished job. I will add pictures if I am allowed to do so.

Elite Flooring did an outstanding job staining, sanding, and coating the floors of our new house. They offered a very reasonable price, and they were very professional. Everything was done on time and they communicated very well before, during, and after the service.

I'm very impressed with the service I was provided. I have 100 year old pine floors and I had other companies tell me to cover it with vinyl or say it's hard to work with pine. I really didn't know what to expect. I called elite and he came out right away to give me a quote. It was clear he had a lot of experience. They were professional. They were able to book me very quickly. They completed the job 1 day early and the floors turned out gorgeous. The perfect color. Also they came to my house and had me pick the color in front of them to make sure I love it. Thanks a lot!
